A great fun read. If you are going away this year, this is the sort of thing you want to be reading while lay on a beach in the sunshine.
As each of the girls are off to different countries, I really felt like I wanted to visit all these places, I wanted to be in each of the destinations while reading about them.
We have Poppy in Paris. Lily has gone to LA. Maggie is in Meribel. Rachel is in Rome.
I read the Poppy and Lily books when they come out as Novellas but I read them again when I got a copy of the book. And enjoyed them just as much the 2nd time around.
With the addition of the novellas I hadn't read. I really enjoyed this book.
A great fun summer time read. I loved the characters and the way these books all come together. I enjoyed reading about the antics of all the girls. And enjoyed the last part of it where the girls all come together in Manhattan.
I so so need a holiday after reading about all these great places. Although I don’t think mine would be as hectic or as mad. But I don’t suppose you could write a book about a reader is sits on her sun lounger reading for 2 weeks.
A very enjoyable read. I don’t think I can pick a favorite out of the 5, as each new one I started I enjoyed just as much as the previous one.
I have previously written reviews for the first two books so thought I would add them onto this review for you to read.
Poppy Does Paris.
This book is part of a series, by Nicola Doherty. The girls on tour series.
As it's only a short story I thought it would be a great read for when i had my breaks in work. And i ended up looking a little bit of a plonker with a stupid grin on my face while reading it.
This is just a great fun, lighthearted short story.
An ideal read if you have an hour spare, sat in the garden on a warm afternoon.
Poppy has headed off to Paris -working- with her work colleague Charlie. and as she hasn't had any romance for quite some time, she's a little more than out of practice.
She decides seducing Charlie would be a good idea.
Obviously things don't always go to plan.
So treat yourself to a copy and see just what Poppy does in Paris.
I am looking forward to reading more from this author, and as I have recently won a copy of if I Could Turn Back Time in a blog giveaway, I think I will be moving it up in my to read pile.
Lily Does La
This is the second installment in Nicola Doherty’s fabulous Girls on Tour series, I read the first one Poppy Does Paris, earlier in the year and really enjoyed it.
These books have been a great change for me away from the normal Crime fiction that I read. And I must say I have really enjoyed them.
Lily wants to be an actress, but so far has just not had that lucky break. Or any luck at all come to think of it.
She quits her job at a call center, and is then asked to go to LA to help her cousin organised her wedding.
Great, the chance of a lifetime, what can possible go wrong? Even better she realized her cousins husband is in the film industry. But she is banned for asking him for any help with acting work.
Lily gets up to all sorts in LA. I really don't want to give to much away, with this only being a short story. What I will say is it is a fun and interesting read. A Brilliant addition to any trip you are going on, as you will get through it in no time.
