Well I have to say, I really did struggle with the start of this book. It just wasn't getting me, It wasn't dragging me in and shouting "Don't put me down"
But after reading a friends review, then another and seeing how much they enjoyed it. I stuck with it, but still only occasionally picking it up. And reading a chic lit book in between.
I finally started getting to grips, and figuring things out, and enjoying it, around 40% in, and have to admit if it hadn't been for reading the review of a blogger who's judgement I trust, I would have put this down.
I'm glad now that I did stick with it, as this is where it really gets going, really gets hold of you, and leave's you wanting to read and figure out what is going on, and what is going to happen. The last 60% I read a lot quicker than the first 40%.
I will say I just didn't expect what happened, happening. It was a really good twist. And turned around in a way i really didn't expect.
This is one of those books, that is difficult to say too much about without giving too much away. And I would hate to spoil it for anyone by saying to much.
With a missing girl in the news, Claire Scott can’t help but be reminded of her sister, who disappeared twenty years ago in a mystery that was never solved.
But when Claire begins to learn the truth about her sister, nothing will ever be the same.
