Her Betrayal (2022) ✔︎ 4. Her Payback (2022) ✔︎ 5. Her Fight (2022) ✔︎ 6. Her Enemy (2023) ✔︎ 7. Her Feud (2024) I have read each and every book in this series. (i've also read each and every book this author has published). As always this is a first class gripping read. Its difficult to keep a series going but this one has been absolutely superb. The author has surpassed expectations on each and every release. Smashing it each and every time. I just could not get bored reading about this family. The Drews, a force to be reckoned with. They'd be great as friends, but I certainly wouldn't want them as an enemy. Cillian and Billie are getting married Lily could not be any more pleased. Her family is expanding. To Lily family is everything. Although we do have a drift between Lily and her other son Connor. Time is passing and neither of them seem to be making the move to make things right. It got so bad that Connor has moved over to another 'firm. Cillian is hoping things will work out with Connor and his mother as he want's both of them at his wedding. Its his and Billies day and they want no tension anywhere. It's their special day and nothing will spoil it. Can Lily and Connor get past pride and finally admit they need each other. Ray and Lily are still at loggerheads after the past has caught them up. Will things ever be right between these two. Has to much water gone under the bridge. If you have got to this book in the series then it's clear you are an avid fan. Its a superb addition and one that should not be missed. If you have not read any of these but enjoy a gritty gangland crime thriller then you really need to start at the beginning of this series. It really is worth reading these books in order for the best experience. I've grown over a few years reading about these character, I've been invested in their lives and I can truly say I've loved each and every page of it. Loyalty, love, deception the Drew Underworld has it all. No secret. I am a huge fan of this authors work. When I realised Emma Tallon was starting a new series I was a little apprehensive as her Tyler family series of books is one of my favourite. I always wonder if the author is doing the right thing and if they can ever match the success they have had with another series. Well, it's safe to say Emma has smashed this one. What a fantastic start to a new series. Meet the Drew family. Ronan and Lily Drew, Brother and sister and part of the Drew Empire. Ronan is Married to Cath and their daughter Scarlet is about to set off to fulfil her dreams at university. Her mother Cath is so please and proud of her, but also pleased she is not joining the family firm. Scarlet in Cath's eyes has so much more to offer and a life made by going to university. When tragedy hits the family, Scarlet has big decisions to make, It soon becomes clear which path she is going to follow. A first class start to a new series, Characters that I can see will grow and grow, I'm all ready liking Scarlet and look forward to what more is in store. As with all books on gangland London there are good and Evil and I can't wait to see how some of these characters develop. I loved how there was a slight glimpse into the previous series with some of the characters mentioned in this book, I can see an overlap of the two families working really well in the future. When family is everything you may change your path in life. I can highly recommend this book, its gripping, thrilling and totally worthy of your full attention. Emma Tallon has an amazing ability to write books with a knock out punch, that ability shows in this start to this new series. I can't do the book enough justice while giving my thoughts, it needs all the stars and more. Just simply first class writing.

I know it's something we all say from time to time but my goodness, I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN!
One that certainly got my heart beating. It was beating that fast my fitbit thought I'd been for a run. I have just loved this series, each and every book you learn more about the characters their lives everything they stand for. the author here has created a fantastic set of characters that work so well together. Betrayal, loyalty, Revenge, gangsters, guns this book has it all. we are Back with the Tyler brothers, Anna and Tanya, these characters feel like they are people I know, I've followed them so far on an epic journey. The author has done a first class job creating such unique and individual characters. There seems to be so much to deal with this time around, so much going and you don't have a clue in which way things are going. They thought they'd seen the last of the Russians but it seems the wife of missing Alexis is on the war path and thinks that Freddie may have killed him. Will hidden secrets surface and destroy Anna and Freddie's relationship that finally seems to be back on track. Anna is struggling with what she see's as a betrayal from a close friend, it's tough seeing a great friendship crumbling but sometimes you just can not forgive. Seeing this story not only carry on from book to book but with each new book we have new enemies, new characters and this flows seamlessly through each book just reeling you in that little bit more. This series is like a drug it's set out to get you and once it has there is not giving up. These books should come with an addiction warning. So so good, I can't recommend this series highly enough. If you can't trust those nearest to you, who can you trust?

When everything changes, you have to come out fighting. It’s been three years since Anna Davis’s boyfriend Freddie Tyler was sent to prison, now he’s back on the streets of London and about to find out that everything has changed. As Freddie enters his West End club for the first time in years, he finds ex-girlfriend Anna Davis sitting behind his desk, confidently leading his team of men. Anna used to hate the world he lived in, but she has now become a big part of it. And she’s not about to give up running the family business easily. Anna shows a toughness Freddie has never witnessed in her before when she tells him about her new enterprise, smuggling stolen diamonds through London’s Hatton Garden. And alarm bells start ringing when Freddie meets Anna’s new partner. Cold and ruthless, Roman Gains isn’t someone Freddie trusts around the club and particularly not around Anna. Whilst tensions flare between Anna and Freddie, a new Russian firm enters their world, determined to bring the Tylers down. And when they take out one of his best men, Freddie has to take drastic action to wrestle control from Anna. But she has other ideas. And when Roman becomes Anna’s closest ally, Freddie finally reaches breaking point. Could this be the fall of the Tyler empire and the last time Freddie and Anna are on the same side?
Current, fresh addictive reading. This author knows what her readers want and delivers every time. Each and every single book has gotten better. I didn't think it was possible but it was.
Things have changed in the world for Freddie and Anna, Freddie has been inside and Anna has been in charge of his empire. Can Anna just step aside and walk away from all her hard work? No she wants in on the business full time. Freddie soon realises just how much Anna has changed and he's put her in this world. Someone is out to cause trouble and it's going to be survival of the fittest to get through. I'm loving how the Characters had grown and been built around. How their worlds have changed so much since the first book. The stories always take over you, written so well you are unable to put the books down. Emma Tallon is an exceptional writer and I can't wait to see what is in store in future books.
She’s back and this time she has a score to settle.
Anna Davis and Freddie Tyler are finally getting their lives back on track when an unexpected face turns up on Freddie’s doorstep. Someone from the past. And she delivers a blow that will tear their lives apart. Reeling from the news, Anna throws herself into her work. Her clubs are doing well and she’s opening a new business venture with best friend, Tanya. But she’s worried that her relationship with Freddie could be about to fall apart. Freddie’s got big problems with the business. A new gang is in town, and they’re muscling in on Tyler turf and need to be dealt with. Plus, he’s still being closely watched by a Met detective determined to bring him down. As Freddie plots to take out his rivals, tensions between him and Anna grow. Could this spell the end of their relationship? And will the rogue detective finally get the chance to arrest Freddie – burning the empire he’s built from scratch to the ground?
Wowzers, what a read. what a book, what an ending! I need more and I need it NOW.
Anna Davis 1. Runaway Girl (2018) 2. Dangerous Girl (2018) 3. Boss Girl (2019) 4. Fierce Girl (2019) 5. Reckless Girl (2019) Reckless is book 5 in what has so far been a first class amazing series. I really couldn't see how each book i've read could be beaten yet each time a new one come out it smashes all expectations. This author certain knows how to pull in her readers and deliver just what they want. It's full to the brim of tension, action, nail biting, edge of your seat action. you are dragged along at a break neck speed wanting and needing more. A serious book that is unputdownable. I absolutely loved it. I have read each and every one of theses books and can say they are best read in order, you will get a better understanding of the characters and the parts they play. If you haven't read any of them yet then boy, oh boy you are in for one hell of a treat. But that ENDING. Sorry that was cruel, it means I have to wait and countdown to the next book. What a cliffhanger. I so can't wait to find out what happens. Anna and Freddie have a great relationship and just as soon as you think things are getting good for them, something always happens. The is an almighty bomb dropped on them that they will no doubt struggle to fight through together. Being part of the underworld is always going to have it's issues and rivalry, but Freddie seems to be faced with just to much this time, can he work through issues and regain the power he has. I love the main charcter in these books, the bond between them makes the strorylines and relationships so much more believeeable, I feel I actually know most of them personally. I think when you develop fictional feeling then the author has done a superb job whriting about them and making you part of their lives as you read about them. First class, I really don' know what more I could say. I don't have the words to explain how good this read really was and suggest you try to prove me wrong by buying it and reading it. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it. Leave comments below and let me know what you thought. First class and then some. so deserves more than the given 5 stars.

She’s tougher than ever and she won’t let anyone take advantage of her – or the people she loves. Anna’s devoted boyfriend, East End baron Freddie Tyler, is in trouble. There’s a rat in his organisation and he needs to stop the leaks before a very big mistake from his past is revealed to people who will want swift and brutal revenge. Anna wants to help Freddie but she’s got problems of her own. Her best friend Tanya’s mother has turned up, and is staking a claim on Tanya’s share of their club. With Tanya buying her mum’s reformed sinner act, Anna knows she needs to act before both their friendship and Club Anya goes up in flames. But if there’s one thing Anna and Freddie have learned, it’s how to play the game, and as their enemies close in they’ll fight with everything they’ve got to protect the life they’ve built.
What did I think?
Book 4 to feature Anna Davis. What another brilliant read. Emma Tallon has really set the bar high with these books. I have loved each and every one of them. From the opening page I was captured back into the world of Anna, Tanya and Freddie and what a world it is. If you haven't read the last book yet then you may want to stop reading now. Tanya is still in hospital from the results of the ending of the last book. Recovery is slow but Anna is still there for her, still willing everything to be good, even though Anna is going through her own hell. When Tanya's long lost mother turns up, Anna is very suspicious of her. Does she have a right to be or has Rosie finally turned a corner and come o make amends with her daughter. Trying to keep club Anya afloat, dealing with so many demons is Anna taking on to much. Freddie is still by her side but knows his Anna is no this woman walking around and just functioning. He'll do all he can to help Anna and get his Anna back to him. We do get to see a little more of Tanya's background in this book. I found it great getting to know her a little more, I feel I know these characters that bit more with each of the books I've read. Tanya's background was interesting and really added to the story and helped understand her character that bit more. A fantastic addition to this series, another book that will have you up all night needing and wanting to read it. I just can't fault this series at all, it has everything you want from a gangland thriller. Drugs, Prostitution, betrayal, mafia, gangs, deception, family, loyalty. oh boy I could go on. Did I say this was an epic read? At times you want to think you know which way the book is going to go, you don't so don't bother brilliant turns in this book help keep you gripped from start to end, then when you reach the end you give a big shout out of NOOOO, all the time reading the book you want to get to the end, when you get there then the end had come to soon, you want the book to go on, and on... I think another 300 pages just wouldn't have been enough. Addictive Read. Fans of Kimberley chambers, Jessie Keane, Mandasue Heller, Casey Kelleher will love these books, I can't recommend them highly enough.

If you love Martina Cole, Kimberley Chambers, Casey Kelleher and Jessie Keane, you’ll love Boss Girl.
You’ll do anything to save your family, even kill for them… Anna Davis is under pressure. With her West End nightclub packed full every night and the opening of another club just around the corner, she knows she can’t take her eye off the ball. Her boyfriend Freddie Tyler practically owns London’s West End and he’s got a big deal on – one that could make the Tylers the most powerful family in London. He’s going into business with crime boss Frank Gambino. But visiting Anna at work one night, Gambino tells her he’ll only sign the deal with Freddie on one condition – that she hands over Club Anya to him. With tension growing between Anna and Freddie, her mind is on other things. She doesn’t notice that someone is watching her every move. She doesn’t realise just how much danger she’s in. When one night she doesn’t return home, Freddie is beside himself with worry. And as he races to save Anna, one thing is for sure – he’ll get back the girl he loves. Even if it means taking down the whole of the London underworld to find her…
My thanks to @Bookouture and @Netgalley for the Ecopy ARC of this book.
My thoughts Well I have to say I was thrilled to be reading this book. I absolutely loved Runaway Girl and Dangerous Girl, so I was eager to get back in to the lives of the characters I've been getting to know, and what characters they are. Emma certainly has a knack of creating memorable characters. Her writing style is unique, being dragged in to the story and pulled along before you are left absolutely breathless at the end. Emma is way up there now amongst the best authors of this genre and without even knowing the title or reading the blurb Emma is one of those authors for me now, who no matter what the book is, I will need to read it. It's hard when you read so many books to keep getting something different, something fresh. This author certainly manages it and some more besides. I think by now you might have guessed I loved this book. I really don't want to be giving to much away as far as the story goes, I really don't want to spoil the enjoyment for this book for anyone. Because believe me, this is one read you will want to sit and devour without any spoilers. Back in the lives of Anna, Freddie and Tanya. Anna having fled a bad relationship and starting over again became very good friends and business partners with Tanya. Between them they manage their clubs. Freddie is Anna's boyfriend who is a big part in the London criminal underworld. Having become successful in what she does and with all she has been through Anna is normally quite guarded around friendships and who she can trust, needing to keep one step ahead or things can go very wrong. Things go very wrong for Anna and it's down to Freddie to put them right. Is it to late, has Anna let her guard down maybe just a little to much. Who can and who should she trust? This is not your typical London Gangster, crime type book, this is one of the best. Fast paced, full of action, enough to keep you on your toes and wanting more, and then some more... Loved how this book ended, it certainly leaves you knowing that there is more to come, I for one cannot wait... These books could be read as standalones, but seriously to get the full back history of the characters and to fully appreciate them, they really would be better read in order. First class read, had me hooked and is going on my 2019 Must Reads list!

If you love Martina Cole, Kimberley Chambers, Casey Kelleher and Jessie Keane, you’ll love Dangerous Girl.
Sometimes your enemies are closer than you think Anna is finally happy. She’s rid of her abusive ex and she’s co-owner of London’s hottest new club, with her best friend Tanya. But she is worried about her boyfriend, Freddie. He’s keeping things from her. And he won’t tell her where he goes in the middle of the night. Freddie is furious. A girl has gone missing from one of his clubs and the police are all over him. When a familiar face turns up and threatens him, he’s offered a deal – find the girl or Anna will be killed. With time running out, Freddie risks everything to save Anna’s life. And if there’s one thing Freddie Tyler is known for, it’s that he never gives up. Not without a fight… My thoughts on this 5* Read.
Dangerous Girl, What a read. A damn enjoyable page turner. I started this book an afternoon I wasn't feeling so good. It certainly helped take my mind of the crappy things happening in real life. I was lost in those pages and the lives and crimes of the characters.
I recently read Runaway Girl, which is the first book, so I was thrilled when I realised this, Dangerous Girl was a follow on. I Can safely say if you enjoy reading the likes of Casey Kelleher, Jessie Keane, Jacqui Rose then you will love these books. Personally I would say read these books in order for a better background feel, I don't think it would matter if you didn't, but I love knowing the history of characters from the beginning. I love the characters of Anna and Freddie, the straight as a die woman with the gangland partner makes great reading. The daughter of a very influential man has gone missing. She disappeared after visiting Freddie Tylers club. Last seen on CCTV outside of his club. This has the police crawling all over his club, not something Freddie Tyler needs. He is somehow dragged into the search for her, and it's a race against time to figure out what has actually happened. There is some violence in this book, but I would say if you like the gangland crime style books, then you won't find it over the top. It's what helps make these types of books. A damn good unputdownable read, and I for one can't wait for more. Emma Tallon is certainly going to be one of those authors whose books you 'MUST' read. I knew that after book one, and when this book become available as an ARC on Netgalley, I didn't even bother reading what it was about, I just clicked that request button. You may also enjoy

Tanya Smith is a gorgeous East London stripper with a big heart. Anna loves Tanya’s attitude to life and the pair quickly become inseparable and business partners. And East End baron Freddie Tyler is everything Anna’s ex-boyfriend was not – he’s kind, caring and would do anything to make Anna happy. But are they both telling Anna the truth about who they really are? Just as Anna begins to see a brighter future for herself, her past comes back to haunt her. She could be about to lose everything – even her life. But she’s a different person now. She’s got something to live for and she’s not going to give up without a fight. If you love Martina Cole, Kimberley Chambers, Casey Kelleher and Jessie Keane, you’ll love Runaway Girl. This fast-paced, gripping thriller will have you reading well after dark. This book was previously published as Life Game.
I was looking forward to reading this, I had the original book, Life Game on my kindle, yet when I went to find it, it had disappeared into kindle heaven. But not to worry this is the re edited, revamped edition.
This was my Easter treat, sit down, start a new book and chill. Well sit and chill in between keeping a husband and an 8 year old occupied. I had high hopes for this book, and was really looking forward to it. It wasn't long before I was engrossed in the pages. Meeting Anna, she has escaped from an evil man of a boyfriend. Controlling and violent. She will forever be looking over her shoulder as she knows she will never truly be rid of him. Tanya and Anna become friends after a chance meeting. Friends that hopefully can go on and help and trust each other. This book has it all, it keeps you going, it keeps you wanting more. I did however at times feel it was a little tame, like it could have been vamped up a notch here and there. That said it was still a damn good read, and I will certainly be watching out for more from this author, I think Emma Tallon is going to be a name to watch out for.
Author Bio:
Emma Tallon is a British, gritty crime writer, adventurer, Londoner and mother to a young son. Starting her career a few years ago as a ghostwriter, Emma crafted some of the most adventurous, edgy and heart-wrenching stories you can find on the shelves today. In March 2017 Emma stepped out of the literary shadows and self-published her first book, Life Game. The book was an instant success, the results far exceeding anything she had expected. As news of Life Games popularity spread, she joined forces with W.F.Howes and the audiobook was launched in October 2017. In December 2017, Emma signed a three book deal with publishers Bookouture. This included Life Game which was changed, re-edited and now re-released as Runaway Girl. Drawing inspiration for her books from a mixture of her own observations and an active imagination, the characters Emma paints are colourful and larger than life. Her story lines are an interesting recipe of deep emotion and violent grit, that keep her readers engrossed. With two more books in the works for this series already, Emma has many more stories planned out for the future.
