Time is of the essence to find a missing young mother.
DI Lorne Simpkins and her partner, DS Pete Childs try to solve one of their most complex cases to date. Having returned to work after completing her maternity leave, Kim Connell is reported missing by her concerned husband when she fails to come home that evening. The investigation reveals a dark and sinister motive in the search for Kim. Discover what that motive is by reading Seeking Justice - a fast-paced Justice novella.
If you are anything like me and love the Justice series, then this novella is perfect to help with that Justice fix that is needed.
Back in time with this one, where we get to see DI Lorne Simpkins team up again with Pete Childs, Lorne and Pete have a great working relationship and the banter between that is always brilliant. This time around the duo are searching for Kim Connell who has been reported missing by her concerned husband when she didn't return home from work. Don't be put off with this being a novella, as usual the author manages to pack a brilliant storyline into a novella. It's fast paced and will keep your interest. Another great addition to the series. For me personally I would say read this series in order for best results. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

The second gripping thriller in the DI Kayli Bright thriller series from NY Times bestselling author of the Justice series.
DI Kayli Bright is called to the scene of a terrible accident that appears to be a case of careless driving. However, her gut reaction tells her there's much more at stake. Within hours, her suspicions are confirmed when she is called to investigate a second incident on the same stretch of road. This time there is no doubt in Kayli's mind that she's dealing with a murder enquiry. Are the two incidents connected? Is Kayli looking for a driver with a severe case of road rage? Or is there a twisted serial killer on her patch? As Kayli sifts through the web of lies to capture the killer, her personal life seems to be falling apart. Her fiancé, Mark, returns home from his new job oversees a changed man. What is he hiding? Could Mark's dark secret be destructive enough to put an end to their relationship? Other books in the series are: The Missing Children Book 1 Hidden Agenda - available for pre-order. Published 1st March 2018 Wowzers, another superb book.
I was a little annoyed with myself that i'd gotten behind with this series, yet when I got to the end of this book, I was thrilled i'd held on, because it meant that I could dive right into book 3.
This was a fairly quick read at just under 200 pages, but those pages have it all packed into them. Carmen is on her way home after a night out with her 2 close friends, they had been celebrating her recent promotion. Unfortunately Carmen is involved in an accident on her way home. Di kayli Bright and her partner Dave are called to the scene. Kayli's gut instinct tell her this was no accident. But she needs to wait for reports to find out. When another accident happens on the same stretch of road, it seems it's just possible that both incidents are connected. But how? is what Kayli and Dave need to figure out. Can Kayli keep her mind on her job and not her personal life long enough to solve the case? This book was another brilliantly told story by this very talented author. The knack for dragging you into the story is brilliant. Mel can certainly write a damn good book. This one will keep you guessing, and keep you interested right up to the last page, where then you'll just want more. Book 2 ends fantastically with a 'I need the next book now' Luckily for me I have it on my kindle waiting for me to start.
The first gripping thriller in the DI Kayli Bright trilogy.

When I heard that Mel had a new book due out and that it was the start of what could potentially be a new series, I was thrilled.
I've been a huge fan of Mel Comley's books for a number of years, I have to say that the speed at which this author gets her books written and out to the public is phenomenal. The woman is a writing machine. Mel has a knack of getting her readers hooked, and any fan of this author will not want to miss out on this book, 'trust me' you really will not want to miss out. We meet a new DI here. DI Kayli Bright, I have to say it's great meeting a new characters and getting to know them and this is a character i'm looking forward to really getting to know. The subject is a tough one to cover, Missing children is never easy to read about, yet this is covered really well and written so brilliantly. This is easy a 5* read for me, and I really do look forward to reading more. I know there is certainly 2 more books in this series, as it was originally written as a trilogy, but I'm hoping that looking at early reviews Mel may well be tempted to add to those 3 books and make this another longstanding successful series.
Heroic Justice: A joint investigation between DI Lorne Warner and DI Hero Nelson (Justice Series Book 15)
One Killer. Several gruesome murders. Two hundred miles apart. This case is going to take two exceptional detectives to solve it. DI Lorne Warner and her husband, Tony, travel north to team up with DI Hero Nelson, on the trail of a killer randomly killing his victims in public places. It soon becomes apparent the killer is toying with the detectives. To stay ahead of the investigation team, he changes his MO and ups his game... with a devastating outcome.
If there is one series you read from start to finish. Make it this one.
Another exceptional read, from the very talented best selling author M. A. Comley. I’m a super huge fan of Mel’s work, and The Justice Series is certainly one of my all time favourites. I’ve enjoyed so much getting to know the characters, their families and friends. It almost feels like you personally know them when you have read a series from book 1. I just love love love Lorne, she’s a first class character, and I think Mel has moulded her to become a favourite character of many readers. I certainly got my Lorne fix from this book. I eagerly await each book in this series, and I’ve got to the stage now that I don’t even read the blur about the book, if it’s part of the Justice series then I’m going to read it regardless. The next gripping thriller in the DI Sally Parker thriller series from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Justice series M. A. Comley Murderer or a victim of a corrupt system? Fifteen years after her deadly encounter, Anne Gillan's remains are finally found. Her husband, who has maintained his innocence, has spent those fifteen years in prison--and the case's investigating officer has been found guilty of corruption. Could Anne's murderer still be free? DI Sally Parker has just been chosen to lead a cold-case squad--and Anne Gillan's murder is their first case. The case brings Sally face to face with a criminal from her own past, who has set out to destroy Sally's relationship with her soon-to-be husband. Will Sally and her team solve the case before Sally has a deadly encounter of her own? It's great to get your teeth stuck into another DI Sally Parker book. A series I have grown to love and look forward to.
Mel Comley is certainly a very talented author and I know I like many others, really look forward to Mel bringing out a new book. She has certainly built up a very good fan base of loyal readers. I believe that is because we all know what to expect, and have grown to enjoy and look forward to any book published by Mel as we know just what high standards to expect. Mel just never seems to let us, the readers down. I for one was certainly impressed with this latest installment. DI Sally Parker is now tasked with heading up a Cold Case team. Thankfully she gets to take her own team on board with her, but will all her team want to join her? Exciting times ahead for a team like this, but hard work is in store. The Death of Anne Gillan is to be their first case. Anne went missing 15 years ago and although a body wasn't found at the time, her husband was convicted of her killing and has since been in prison serving his sentence. It's down to Sally and her team to figure out if He was guilty, or wrongly imprisoned. This is by far one of my favorite Sally Parker books so far, i'm not sure if that is because of the familiarity with some of the character, or the fact that I also enjoy when we follow the private lives of characters as opposed to just their working life. I loved everything about this book and found it a real gripping, interesting page turner.
A fast-paced short story thriller in the bestselling Justice series.
In a race against time, with the life of a young woman at risk, DI Lorne Simpkins and her partner, DS Pete Childs find themselves in an impossible situation which puts them in mortal danger. Can the dynamic duo rescue her before she draws her final breath, or will they fall victim to a diabolical killer?
Well I've said it before, Mel Comley is a writing machine. This author flies books out like there is no tomorrow, and each one just seems to get better.
No secret I'm a huge fan of this author, and it's again a privilege to get an ARC of another superb book. This is a short story/Novella as part of the Justice series. In this instalment we go back in time to Lorne's earlier days on the police force. Partnered up with the wonderful 'Chunky' aka Pete Childs. For a short story it was a quick easy read but with lots going on, it holds your attention the whole way through. Well worth reading for any Lorne fans out there. The Justice series in order are: Cruel Justice #1 in Police Procedurals and 1# Women Sleuths. Impeding Justice #1 in Police Procedurals Final justice #1 Action and Adventure Foul Justice #1 Hard-Boiled Mysteries Guaranteed Justice #1 Women Sleuths Ultimate Justice - #2 Women Sleuths Virtual Justice - #1 Hard Boiled/#2 Psychological Thrillers Hostile Justice - #1 Police Procedural Tortured Justice - #1 Vigilante Justice Rough Justice - #1 Women Sleuths Dubious Justice - #1 British Detectives Calculated Justice - #2 Action and Adventure Twisted Justice - #1 Women Sleuths Prime Justice - New release Short stories to accompany the series involving Lorne and Pete are: Blind Justice - introduction novella to the series. It's a Dog's Life - 20,000 word novella Justice at Christmas - a 10,000 word short story. Unfair Justice - a 10,000 word short story Mortal Justice - a 15,000 word novella. Irrational Justice - 10,000 word short story.
A gripping and fast-paced crime thriller by a NY Times best-selling authorSuccessful entrepreneur, Ross Spalding, has everything to live for; a thriving business, a stunning new home, and a high society wedding to his beautiful fiancée to look forward to in the coming months. That is, until his life comes to an abrupt, gruesome end.
DI Hero Nelson and his team need to dig deep to find the reasons behind someone wanting Ross Spalding dead. As more people connected to Ross also die, some in suspicious circumstances, the suspect list grows beyond all expectations, until a major clue presents itself and spins the investigation off in a totally new direction. However, Hero’s personal life is also dealt a major blow when his parents are faced with a life or death situation. He is forced to put his personal problems aside when the murderers are revealed and Hero is faced with a tight deadline in which to apprehend them.
It still amazes me at the speed in which this author can write and produce a book. Mel Comley is a writing machine. Book 4 here in the Hero series is another great addition to the Comley Library of books.
Ross Spalding has been killed and found in a field 8 miles away from his work place. It's down to Hero Nelson and his team to find out what has happened. How a man can be brutally murdered and why? The case seems to go off in all directions, with numerous things happening for the team to tackle. Hero is a great character, one I've grown to like, he can be a little bit, lets say 'stuck in his ways. He loves his family and really is a family man. We see his family life hit problems and you can't help want to help put things right. Another first class read and Mel's fans will certainly not be disappointed. Its no secret that I am a huge Mel Comley fan and have to admit I didn't even read the synopsis on this book before starting it. I knew it was from an author I trust and about a character that I enjoy reading about. So for me that's all I needed to know. I certainly wasn't disappointed, in fact I've never been disappointed with any of Mel's books and would happily recommend them for anyone who likes to get lost in a great read. This book could very well be read as a stand alone, but for me I find it always better to read a series from the beginning, but that is just my personal liking.
Unfair Justice is a Justice series short story of 10,000 words which involves all the original characters.
In the early hours of the morning, the murdered body of a teenager, Maria Collins, in discovered close to a railway track. With very few clues to go on, can DI Lorne Simpkins and her team uncover who the murderer is before he claims yet another victim?
A great easy read. A Justice novella that will keep any Justice fan going for a little longer.
I find it great when this author brings out a short story to keep her growing reading fans going. And it certainly does that. Don't think that because it's a short story it takes anything away from it being a brilliant read, because believe me, it doesn't! We also go way back in time with Lorne working with Pete, so if you are not up to date with the series, then don't worry this won't spoil anything for you. Lorne and Pete are investigating the murder of a teenage girl. And for fear of giving anything away I'm going to stop with the story there. What I will say though is it is a great addition to this growing series, and well worth reading. Looking forward to more.
The third novel in the DI Sally Parker thriller series from NY Times and USA Today bestselling author M A Comley
Other reads available in this series are: Wrong Place - #1 Women Sleuths No Hiding Place - #1 Women Sleuths Web of Deceit - a novella co-written by Tara Lyons DI Sally Parker also helps solve a mystery alongside DI Lorne Warner in Twisted Justice. DI Sally Parker has been handed a ten-year-old cold case. However, the victim, Aisha Thomas, isn't just a member of the public--she's a serving police officer's wife. During the original investigation, the suspects disappeared before they could be questioned. Now fresh evidence has been uncovered, proving the two suspects to be innocent. Sally has to start over at the beginning. She uncovers a few surprises that were either overlooked. . . or purposefully ignored by the original investigator. When the case threatens Sally's fledgling romantic relationship with pathologist Simon Bracknall, she begins to suspect someone is determined to hinder her chance at happiness--as well as solving Aisha's murder. Is Sally getting close to revealing the killer or has she stumbled across something even more sinister?
I have to start with the fact that it really does amaze me at the speed in which Mel can get books out, without any of them feeling rushed or falling below the quality we have come to know and love.
I am a HUGE M A Comley fan. I have read almost all her books over a number of years, and each time a new one is due out, I still get excited about reading it. Here we are again, another outing with DI Sally Parker. I feel like i'm still getting to know Sally, but after reading this book I have added Sally now to my list of fictional characters that I really do like. In this book Sally has really grown on me, and I really can't wait to read more about her and see just what happens with her in future books. As the title suggests, Sally and her team are given a Cold Case to review. A case that is ten years old, so where on earth do you start. Well it seems, you start right back at the beginning. Ten years ago the wife of a police officer was murdered. The case soon takes on a big turn around when it is discovered that the two suspects in the original case maybe had nothing to do with it. Have mistakes been made, is it bad policing or is just that with new DNA evidence coming to light that it puts things into a different light. I can safely say that throughout the book I had no idea of who the killer could have been, and It certainly took me by surprise when I found out who it was. I think this was brilliantly done, I loved that I had no idea at all. It took me a little while to get the chance to pick this up and read it, and once I did I read it in no time, there was no chance of me putting it down once started. As with all Mel's books. I got lost in the pages and devoured it. I have no hesitations in giving this book the 5 stars it so deserves, and I really can't wait for another outing with Sally Parker. Product details

DI Lorne Simpkins and her partner DS Pete Childs encounter a dangerous gang of Santas who plan on creating havoc on the streets of London on Christmas Eve. Pete is persuaded to go undercover to foil the gang's audacious plan. 5/5 What a great read. This is a brilliant short story, a great addition to the Justice series. It's down to Lorne and her team to stop these thieves. The only way to get these thieves it to join them. And Lorne very kindle volunteers Pete to go undercover. A perfect role for Pete. It was great traveling back in time, to the early Justice. This is the perfect addition to the series. Anyone who has read any of my other reviews, will know that I'm a huge Justice fan.
