Firstly we would like to say a great big thank you to Walker books for sending us a copy of this book. As usual Ellie couldn't wait to open the package to see what was inside, and as a huge Harry Potter fan, she really was over the moon when she opened it.
Ellie loved it and couldn't wait to try it, so we had to close the black out blinds and she was off, we found using the Torch on my mobile phone the best, she was thrilled with the outcome, she spend a couple of nights finding the darkest spots in the house to use this. She really did love it. But then she is pretty bonkers on HP. She then had to show any visitors we had what it did, but after that it got put on the book shelf, so a few days fun then put away. I've no doubt it will come out again in the future, but for now its asleep in bookshelf world. For me it was more oh that's good, and that's it. It's well made, a hardback book. and as well as the projections in the book, there is a blank on for you to draw your own on. I'd say it's great for any young HP fan, and something they can go back to time and time again. It is fun, and little minds can make up some great stories from the images, or read the script under each image. Personally I think it's a little pricey for what it is, but as I said great for little Potter fans. Using illustrated cut-out screens, this enchanting book allows fans to project their favourite scenes from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them films at home with a torch. Read along and play the part of Dobby, stroke Buckbeak the Hippogriff's feathers or chase after an escaped Niffler with this one-of-a-kind tour through the extraordinary moments from the films of J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World. walker.co.uk | Youtube | Facebook | Twitter | Pinterest |
