Synopsis
Play dirty, play to win. Josh Flynn is the king of the bare-knuckle gypsy fighters. His reputation is un-blemished; his fist a deadly weapon. Claire Milo has always loved Josh, they were destined to be together from the day they met. Two gypsy lovers with their whole lives ahead of them. If only Josh would find a different way of earning a living instead of knocking the living daylights out of another man in the boxing ring. One day, she knew something really bad was going to happen. She could feel it . . . Shauna Everett always wanted what she couldn’t have, and nobody, especially Claire Milo was going to stand in her way. She’s had her eye on Josh Flynn for years and she knew just how to get him. If it meant playing dirty, then so be it. What had she got to lose? In a world ruled by violence, crime and backstreet brawls, only one woman will win in Jessie Keane's Fearless, but how low is she prepared to go to achieve that goal? You may also likeWell, where do you start. One thing is certain with this author, Jessie Keane knows how to write a bloody good book. A book that will keep you gripped from the first chapter. This book has it all, Love, hate, jealousy, revenge. Characters you'll love and root for and characters you'll hate so much you want to put your hands into your kindle and grab them out and throttle them. When an author can make you have so many emotions reading a book, and love and hate the characters, then they've done a first class job. Claire Milo- A quiet gypsy girl, in love with her sweetheart, a big fat gypsy wedding to look forward to and a new start. Until it all goes wrong. Her new start becomes something she really hadn't planned. Josh Flynn- A gypsy fighter, and a damn good one, in love with Claire Milo, head over heels, and nothing can change that, although he's not to keen on the idea of the big f off wedding, he's still more than in love with his sweet Claire. But Claire just can't get her head around his fighting. It's not what she wants. Shauna Everett - Wants anything that isn't hers, namely Josh Flynn, she will go the extra mile to get his attention. A bit of tart, and a character I hated immediately. Her character is brilliantly done. I thoroughly hated her the whole way through the book. A very manipulative woman. I loved this book, It's one of those books you have to keep (clicking) turning the pages, you are desperate to know what is happening with each person. I kept second guessing what was going to happen, but I kept getting it wrong. A believable story, well crafted and well told. This one will keep you reading for hours. It is well worth reading. Full of suspense that will keep you biting your nails as your reading.

Joy Ellis is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. The speed at which her books are published is phenomenal, as is her writing.
There is just something I really like about all Joy's books, I love the stories, the settings, the characters. I really want to sit and not move once I have started one of these books. It's like something takes over me. This is the 4th book in the JACKMAN & EVANS series, a series i'm really enjoying. I also love Joys other series of books featuring NIKKI GALENA. Jackman is faced with one of the toughest cases of his career. When his sister in law commits suicide, Jackman is convinced there is more to it. Why would a woman with 2 small children, and a husband that adores her, throw herself off a bridge. Everything about her and her life seemed happy, so what can have driven her to do it. When DI Jackman and DI Evans dig into Sarah’s background, all is not as it should be. Jackman realises he knew almost nothing about his sister-in-law’s past. He knows more about his work colleagues than he does his own family. When it's found that another woman has died, in similar circumstances the case starts to heat up. Can Jackman and Evans find out what is going on, before anyone else has to die? This is a nail biting read, edge of your seat read. I so cannot wait for more in this series. #Netgalley #TheGuiltyOnes #5Bigfatstars #5*ReadCruise with an Adorable Fat Girl #Blogtour #Review @Bernice1Bloom @rararesources #Giveaway15/3/2018
Mary Brown - our full-figured heroine - is off on a cruise. It's the trip of a lifetime...featuring eat-all-you-can buffets and a trek through Europe with a 96-year-old widower called Frank and a flamboyant Spanish dancer called Juan Pedro in attendance. Then there's the desperately handsome captain, the appearance of an ex-boyfriend on the ship, the time she's mistaken for a Hollywood film star in Lisbon and tonnes of clothes shopping all over Europe.
"Lovely, warm, life-enhancing and laugh out-loud funny," Glamour magazine.
I read this book, pretty quick, I couldn't stop clicking my screen on the kindle to turn the pages, I recently read Diary of an Adorable Fat Girl and really enjoyed it, so I was really looking forward to getting back with Mary and her antics.
This book did not disappoint, full again of fun with Mary. She's a great character, full of life, with things sometimes not going to plan for her. This is one of those books, that you struggle to review in fear of giving to much away. I loved in this book how Mary met Frank, a 96 year old widower. I loved her relationship and fascination with Frank and his stories. These books by Bernie Bloom are great fun reads, I would recommend anyone who wants a laugh, a smile, some light hearted fun to read these books. I don't think You'd be disappointed. I think this book is so far a favorite, I will certainly need to be following Mary in some of her other stories, this one really was a great heartwarming read. If you need an escape from real life, get yourself a cuppa, a blanket, a bar of chocolate and snuggle up and have a read of this book.

Hello, my name is Bernice Bloom and I am a writer (I write light-hearted rom-com style novels and also work as a magazine journalist and advertising copywriter) and jewellery designer. My recent series of novels is called ‘Adorable Fat Girl’ and it features a heavily overweight woman called Mary Brown. She is bright, funny, friendly and bonkers. She’s also fat. The books blend the comedy of her efforts to lose weight with a more serious backstory about what happened to her in the past that had led to the issues that make her prone to over-eating. I’m fascinated that there are so few overweight heroines in literature. Women can be manipulative, evil, even murderers in fiction, but not fat! Certainly not fat and beautiful with loads of friends! Then along came Mary and she’s developed quite a fan base of people who love the fact that the heroine is large. She gets lots of letters and I have ended up taking her on lots of adventures! Diary of an Adorable Fat Girl: The Complete, Full-length Novel
Mary Brown is funny, gorgeous and bonkers. She's also about six stone overweight. When she realises she can't cross her legs, has trouble bending over to tie her shoelaces without wheezing like an elderly chain-smoker, and discovers that even her hands and feet look fat, it's time to take action. But what action? She's tried every diet under the sun. This is the hysterical story of what happens when Mary joins 'Fat Club' where she meets a cast of funny characters and one particular man who catches her eye. The story is laugh-out-loud funny and will resonate with anyone who has dieted, tried to keep up with any sort of exercise programme or spent 10 minutes in a changing room trying to extricate herself from a way too-small garment that she ambitiously tried on and is now completely stuck in. Bernice Bloom is the big, new name in comedy writing...this is the first full-length novel after her series of laugh-out-loud mini books

5/5
I loved it, it was a lighthearted and a fun read. A great escape from real life. This book would be great as a film. There are so many women out there that really will relate to this book, anyone who has ever dieted or been to a slimming club. Then you will probably relate to a lot of what is happening in this book. Slimming club for Mary Brown isn't all just about weight loss, it's where she makes friends. Although to start with she does what everyone, everywhere in any situation does, she judges people. Why do we all do that, only to find out that real people are in there. This journey Mary goes on through this book is about growing her confidence, accepting herself as well as the weight loss. it's about facing her issues, and the reasons she has those issues. It's been a great journey to go on with Mary. Alongside the fun and the laughs in this book, there are some serious issues. This book is the first 3 short stories of the series all in one. I loved it, it was a great read, and anyone who enjoys a good chic lit, will really enjoy this. i gave this book 5/5 because of the enjoyment I got from the book, the fact that I wanted and needed to keep reading. Thanks to @RARARESOURCES for asking me to be part of this tour.
It was fate that she crossed my path. And that is why I chose her.The day Louisa and James bring their newborn son home from the hospital marks a new beginning for all of them. To hold their child in their arms, makes all the stress and trauma of fertility treatment worth it. Little Cory is theirs and theirs alone. Or so they think…
After her mother’s suicide when she was a child, Louisa’s life took an even darker turn. But meeting James changed everything. She can trust him to protect her, and to never leave her. Even if deep down, she worries that she has never told him the full truth about her past, or the truth about their baby. But someone knows all her secrets – and that person is watching and waiting, with a twisted game that will try to take everything Louisa holds dear. Perfect for fans of Louise Jensen.

What a read this turned out to be. A Mothers Sacrifice by Gemma Metcalfe is an interesting read. It's one of those books that you can't quite decide how you feel about it. All the way through I was trying to put the pieces together and weigh up what could be happening. I didn't guess the outcome of the book that's for sure. The day Louisa and James bring their newborn son home from hospital marks a new beginning for them. To hold their child in the armas makes all the stress and trauma of fertility treatment worth it. Little Cory is theirs and theirs alone, Or so they think. After her mothers suicide when she was a child, Louisa's life took an even darker turn. But meeting James changed everything, she can trust him to protect her and never leave her, even though deep down she worries that she never told him the full truth about her past. Opening with Louisa in the throes of childbirth, you can really believe the is the start of something beautiful. Little Cory is going to change their lives, only not in the way that all new parents expect it to change. I was holding my breath right from the start of this book. It was a tense and gripping read. When it seems that Louisa could be suffering from post natal depression, she starts to think that someone wants to take her baby from her. Things soon spiral out of control. Is this Louisa's past that is playing tricks with her mind or something more sinister. Well worth reading, and an outcome I really wasn't expecting. #TheBabysitter #NetGalley
You trust her with your family. Would you trust her with your life?
Mark and Melissa Cain are thrilled to have found Jade, a babysitter who is brilliant with their young children. Having seen her own house burn to the ground, Jade needs them as much as they need her. Moving Jade into the family home can only be a good thing, can’t it? As Mark works long hours as a police officer and Melissa struggles with running a business, the family become ever more reliant on their babysitter, who is only too happy to help. And as Melissa begins to slip into depression, it’s Jade who is left picking up the pieces. But Mark soon notices things aren’t quite as they seem. Things at home feel wrong, and as Mark begins to investigate their seemingly perfect sitter, what he discovers shocks him to his core. He’s met Jade before. And now he suspects he might know what she wants … Mark is in a race against time to protect his family. But what will he find as he goes back to his family home? If you loved reading The Girl on the Train, Behind Closed Doors and The Sister, you’ll love the suspense of The Babysitter. This unputdownable read will have you turning the pages until way after dark.
What a great read. As this book started and I was slowly getting into the story, I just knew something was going to happen. The anticipation of it, was a similar feeling to not wanting to look under the bed, in case the bed monster was lurking to grab you and eat you up. Great build up and suspense the story.
What a great read this was. When Jade's cottage burns down, she is taken in by Mark and Melissa, she then becomes Mark and Melissa's babysitter. It seems Melissa is slowly losing the plot, Mark starts to doubt her and her ability to look after the children and is so grateful that Jade is there to lend a hand. Odd things have started to happen that looks like Melissa isn't coping at all. But it seems Jade is not at all the helpful babysitter she portrays. This book was good, it was damn good. Guessing and thinking the whole way through it. It has you wondering if you are on the right track, have you figured it out? then you change your mind. Then you change it again. This story shows how one person can change the lives of others. This book felt totally different from the previous books I have read by this author, A great read and her other books are well worth checking out if you haven't already read them. I look forward to reading more books by Sheryl Browne in the future.
A stunning new standalone crime thriller from #1 best-selling author Joy Ellis with a totally shocking conclusion. Discover the author everyone’s talking about.
ONE TERRIBLE CASE ALWAYS HAUNTED DETECTIVE MATT BALLARD. NOW MANY YEARS LATER, THE KILLER SEEMS TO BE BACK. AND THIS TIME HE’S AFTER MATT. When Matt Ballard was starting out his career, three boys were murdered in the same area, the remote and bleak Gibbet Fen. When the main suspect was killed in a hit-and-run, the killings stopped. And the picture was taken before the murder took place. More photos arrive, relating to the historic murders, as well as intimate pictures of Matt’s very secret private life. A KILLER WHO WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO DESTROY A DETECTIVE. Then another murder happens, with some of the hallmarks of the old case. Has the killer returned or is this just a sick copycat determined to ruin Matt’s life and reputation? Everyone around Matt is in danger as the killer plays mind games with the detective. In an absolutely breathtaking conclusion, Matt and his team race against time to stop a vicious killer who knows no limits. WHAT READERS ARE SAYING ABOUT BEWARE THE PAST “I think I forgot to breathe every now and then while I was reading and really begrudged having to put the book down.” Barbara “A simply brilliant book, so many twists and turns, I had no idea what to expect at any time.” Janet “The suspense starts on Page 1 and continues through the twists and turns until the very surprising ending.” Linda Strong “OMG, this book was fantastic I absolutely loved it. I was gripped from the first page but as the tension and suspense mounted throughout the book it just got better and better and that ending, well just WOW!” Dawn Jones “Gripping from beginning to end.” Olga “Without doubt Joy Ellis' best yet, this from someone who has read all of the Ellis novels.” Ron “Full of suspense, many clues and leads that only lead to dead-ends. Interesting characters with a past and buried secrets.” Missmesmerized The Setting England's rural fenland is a strange place, with its never-ending fields, winding tracks, and long straight droves (the old livestock routes) that lead to nowhere. The lonely lanes are flanked either side by deep drainage ditches and are, for a good part of the year, filled with tall, whispering reeds. Closer to the Wash, high seabanks form a barrier between river and marsh, and the richly fertile soil of the drained land. But when the mists come down, as they so often do, perspective is destroyed and all sense of direction lost, and then the fens become a rather frightening place of mystery and danger. Somewhere that you do not want to be at night. Perfect for fans of Rachel Abbott, Robert Bryndza, Mel Sherratt, Angela Marsons, Colin Dexter, or Ruth Rendell.
