Grab yourself a big mug of something hot, A bar or two of Frys Peppermint Cream Available here, a great big woolly blanket and get yourself comfy. Because believe me once you start this book, you will not want stop reading.
Set in the picturesque village of Tindledale, this read just takes you on a journey of how to repair a broken heart. And If you are determined to work at things, it shows how you can achieve anything you want.
I was right there sat in the local pub, walking down the high street, I just felt like I was part of this story, like I had got lost in a fictional world.
I loved every bit of it, a fun heartwarming read. And It has also encouraged me to get my knitting needles back out, and get stuck in to knitting some fab scarves ready for the cold weather.
This is the first book I have read from Alexandra Brown, but it is safe to say it will not be the last one. I couldn't believe how quick i got dragged into the story, I was hooked from page one.
A fantastic, Fun, Heartwarming read.
I believe this is the first one in a new series, I really hope so because the Characters were just fab, and I would love to read more about Sybs and her life.

About the Book
Heartbroken after being jilted at the altar, Sybil has been saved from despair by her knitting obsession and now her home is filled to bursting with tea cosies, bobble hats, and jumpers. But, after discovering that she may have perpetrated the cock-up of the century at work, Sybil decides to make a hasty exit and, just weeks before Christmas, runs away to the picturesque village of Tindledale.
There, Sybil discovers Hettie’s House of Haberdashery, an emporium dedicated to the world of knitting and needle craft. But Hettie, the outspoken octogenarian owner, is struggling and now the shop is due for closure. And when Hettie decides that Sybil’s wonderfully wacky Christmas jumpers are just the thing to add a bit of excitement to her window display, something miraculous starts to happen…
