I have recently been going through the many many books I have read, particularly the series of books for many years I have enjoyed.
And decided its high time I got my act together and catch up with some of the books I have not read yet in the series, But first I'm going to read the last book of the series I have previously read to familiarise myself with the stories, character ETC.
This week I noticed that M J Arlidge has a new book due out, Book 5 in the Helen Grace series. OH fantastic, add it to my list and buy it when it becomes available on 10th March.
Then I realised I haven't read book 2 3 4 yet.
on inspection I have noticed I do this a lot.
I have 3 James Patterson books I have bought from the Alex cross series that I have not read yet.
I have the new Women's murder club book that I have not read yet.
And this theme continues with many many other series.
I have 4 books by Julie Shaw that I have bought each time one comes out, but not read any of them yet.
I have 8 books by Tom Barber that I have not even started, yet I buy one each time it comes out. (I was told I would enjoy these books)
So I'm on a mission now to catch up. I have decided I will read all the series of any book I start, if I have the next books all ready bought.
So I have just re read M J Arlidge - Eeny Meeny ready to start book 2, then I'm going to read book 3 and 4 and then buy book 5, before I read anything else. (this is what I'm telling myself anyway). it's a start.
over the next few days i'm going to go through my kindle and book shelves and make a list of all the books in series I own, and need to read then i'm going to give myself a slap and get stuck in.
I'm going to break it up a little (see I'm changing things already) and read the odd stand alone in between the series of books.
Wish me luck, lol. I'm sure I can stick to a plan.
So my plan for the next week or two is as follows
Below are the books I have read. Click image to see review.
