Well what did I think. #Mindblowinglybrilliant I really did enjoy this book. I would have no problems what so ever recommending this series. It's very well written and put together. I just got lost in the story.
I've had two hours sleep in the last 32 hours, which although I'm physically exhausted it's done wonders for my back log of books. I have read the last 75% of book 2 and gotten to 45% of book 3 before my eyes completely gave in on me and I fell asleep. I awoke after 3 hours and made a cuppa and got stuck right back into the book.
I loved learning more about Jennifer and her team. And the paranormal aspect of the story really had me hooked.
Twins Abigail and Olivia are out playing hide and seek when Abigail goes missing. This has to be every parents worst nightmare.
Detective Jennifer knight is brought in as the Family Liaison Officer. It isn't long before Jennifer is gaining knowledge on this family and the trust of Olivia, the twin who since her sister has gone missing has become mute. Not uttering a word to anyone. That is until she starts to talk to Jennifer.
Jennifer for me really grew on me more in this book, I'm loving her character and her paranormal tendencies.
The story is certainly one that has you turning the pages, wanting more. It really does grab you by the throat.
I guess it could be read alone, but for me to have a better understanding of the back story of Jennifer, I would suggest reading from the beginning.
Another unputdownable read from this very talented author with some very cleverly done twists.
