Wowzers. Book 22. I'm currently trying to play catch up on series of books that I have fallen behind on. This is no easy task as I read an awful lot of books that are part of a series. It seems to be the norm now, It seems very rare to read a book that is not part of a series.
Anyway enough of that, What did I think of this one? I loved it. This is certainly one of Alex Cross' toughest cases yet, and all because it involves his family. Family that he loves and would die for.
JP is certainly back up there with this book, it's gripping, gruesome and addictive reading.
I'm a bit of a stickler for reading books in order, and although you could probably read some of these books alone, its much better in order as you can follow the growth and changes within the Cross family. But this one you really need to have read book 21 so you can follow the story better.
It's funny now when I read a JP book on my kindle, it seems the first 5% is taken up just listing his previous books. Christ if he gave a brief description with each one it would probably add another 200 pages to his books.
