The Great Christmas Knit OffAs soon as I saw this book, I knew I just wanted to read it. Release date being 6th November. I thought ahhh it's not to long to wait. Available for pre order via Amazon.
But then I saw it on Netgalley and managed to get an early e-copy of the book. As soon as I saw the book, I started to think how I used to really enjoy knitting. and I haven't knitted anything since my little one was born almost 5 years ago. So off in search of my wool and needles I went,. When I found one of my bags of wool, I immediately relized I had lots of red wool, same color as the book cover, and some quite nice pale blue. My mind was made up, I can sit with my feet up in an evening, and knit a scarf while I read the book on my kindle. So yesterday that's exactly what I started to do. I went right back in time, and I have some very fond memories of learning to knit with my Grandma. My aunt also tried teaching me, but trying to learn off someone who is left handed and you are right handed was a no no. I knitted all sorts over the years, and picking my needles up yesterday and starting just a simple scarf I remembered how therapeutic it is. And I must say reading this book has brought back so many memories, I am really enjoying it. Some pictures of my #knitoff so far. And the big question is... Should I run a Giveaway for the scarf when its finished?
